Police are investigating the disappearance of Shahruar Ahmed Emod, a 22-year-old man from Bangladesh, who went missing on June 12. Authorities are treating the case as a possible kidnapping and unlawful confinement. Shahruar left his home claiming he was starting work at a factory but did not specify its location.

After sending a location via a mobile app to a friend that evening, he ceased all communication. His father later received a distress message from Shahruar’s phone, but since then, the phone has remained switched off and all calls have gone unanswered. Police have released a photo of Shahruar as they continue to explore all leads.

The police urge anyone with information about Shahruar's whereabouts to contact the Larnaca police station or the nearest police force to assist in the investigation.
