🧒 Pancyprian Examinations Continue with Ancient Greek and Mathematics on Monday
The second week of the Pancyprian examinations commenced on Monday, with high school students sitting exams in Ancient Greek and mathematics, while technical school students took the technology exam. According to government sources, 2,286 candidates are registered for the mathematics exam and 233 for Ancient Greek. The examination schedule for the week includes Spanish, visual arts, and further technology examinations on Tuesday, followed by IT, graphical arts, and English for technological schools on Wednesday.
No issues were reported during the first examination week, according to Socrates Mylonas, head of the education ministry’s examination service. Provisions have also been made for basketball team members abroad to take exams remotely. Mylonas noted that Ancient Greek and Mathematics are garnering significant attention among candidates. The third and final week of examinations will follow next week.
Education Minister Athena Michaelidou emphasized that the Pancyprian exams mark a beginning, not an end, for students. She reassured that university placement processes will proceed as usual after the exams conclude.
