Cyprus will experience isolated thunderstorms and potential hail this afternoon, following a mostly clear start to the day. After early low cloud and mist clear this morning, cloud cover will increase after noon, leading to showers and storms in the mountains, inland areas, and the southeast.

Winds will begin light and variable, later shifting southwest to northwest, with the southern coast facing strong winds up to 5 Beaufort, causing slightly choppy seas. Temperatures are expected to reach 34°C inland, 30°C on most coasts, and 25°C in the higher mountains.

Skies will clear overnight, though low clouds and fog patches may form along the coasts before dawn. Winds will ease and shift direction, while overnight temperatures will drop to between 15°C in the mountains and 19°C along the coast.
