New sunbeds and umbrellas will be available to the public at Lady’s Mile beach in Ypsonas starting Friday. The beach, designed to be accessible to all visitors including those with mobility difficulties, features a special wheelchair and ramp for easy water access. Sunbeds and umbrellas will be rented out at €2.50 each, with free use available to disability cardholders.

Mayor Pantelis Georgiou emphasized that visitors are not required to rent the equipment and may bring their own if they wish. The municipality aims to offer citizens an enjoyable summer by the sea without restrictions. Additionally, mobile toilets will be installed next week, improving facilities and reducing reliance on nearby restaurants.

These new amenities complement the existing beach equipment provided by local beachfront businesses, enhancing the comfort and accessibility of Lady’s Mile beach for all visitors.
