Cyprus President has reiterated his commitment to the negotiation process and his readiness to participate in the expanded peace talks during a recent meeting with the UN Secretary-General's Personal Envoy. The meeting, lasting around 40 minutes, took place just days before a pivotal meeting between Maria Angela Olgin and Hakan Fidan in Turkey.

Maria Angela Olgin, the UN envoy, is continuing preparatory work ahead of the 5+1 summit scheduled for early August, likely in Geneva. Following her discussion with the Cypriot Foreign Minister, she confirmed plans to return to Cyprus in two weeks. When asked about her satisfaction with the round of meetings, she responded positively, signaling progress in efforts to resolve the long-standing Cyprus conflict.
