🧒 Lumio becomes first Paphos school authorised to offer IB Middle Years Programme

Lumio has been officially authorised as an IB World School to offer the International Baccalaureate (IB) Middle Years Programme (MYP), making it the first school in Paphos to receive this recognition. This authorisation was granted following a rigorous evaluation by the International Baccalaureate Organisation, affirming Lumio's adherence to the program's high international standards.

The MYP is designed for students aged 11 to 16 and focuses on inquiry-based learning, critical thinking, and intercultural understanding. By adding the MYP to its offerings, Lumio expands access for local families to an internationally respected curriculum that prepares students for further education, including the IB Diploma Programme.

Lumio’s Head of School, Barbara Battaglino, emphasized the school’s commitment to preparing students to thrive in a connected world through this educational framework. As a non-profit international school, Lumio continues to prioritize academic excellence and the development of responsible global citizens through its student-centered learning approach.
