Cyprus has dispatched pharmaceutical supplies to Burkina Faso to address urgent healthcare needs, focusing on children with cancer. The shipment includes chemotherapy drugs and vaccines and was sent through coordinated efforts between the Cyprus Foreign Ministry, CyprusAid, and the Hope Foundation for Children with Cancer and Leukaemia.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs expressed its gratitude for the support from Dr Loizos G Loizos and the Elpida Foundation, underscoring the importance of joint efforts in humanitarian aid. This delivery was officially received in Ouagadougou, the capital of Burkina Faso.

Cyprus reaffirmed its ongoing commitment to providing humanitarian assistance in Africa and strengthening bilateral relations with African nations, emphasizing support for vulnerable populations in critical health situations.
