He described the attacks as organized and unfounded, stemming from his involvement in various legal cases and amplified by social media and press reports.

Emilianides recounted a major incident prior to the 2008 Presidential elections, when he was falsely linked to pedophilia by a Sunday newspaper. Upon being informed while abroad, he alerted authorities, leading to a search of the newspaper's offices that uncovered no incriminating evidence. The paper later admitted their sources were unreliable and retracted the claims.

The lawyer also referenced ongoing smear attempts, including mentions of high-profile cases like ‘Sandy’. He reiterated his transparent role as a legal advisor in the Focus case, which was publicly documented and part of Mafia State findings. Despite these efforts, Emilianides acknowledged that full public exoneration remains difficult amid widespread false accusations.
