🧒 Swedish and Finnish embassies in Cyprus honour 37 students in creative contest inspired by Moomins and Pippi Longstocking

The Swedish and Finnish embassies in Cyprus, together with the Ministry of Education, Sports & Youth and the Cyprus Children’s and Youth Book Association, organized a nationwide contest for primary school students. Celebrating the values of acceptance, diversity, and solidarity, the contest invited children to express creativity inspired by the worlds of the Moomins and Pippi Longstocking. A total of 37 students from 12 schools across Cyprus were recognized for their participation and creative efforts.

To support education and foster a love for reading, IKEA donated products to each winning school to create reading corners. These spaces aim to be warm, functional, and welcoming, encouraging children to discover the joy of books, nurture imagination, and develop a passion for learning. IKEA expressed its commitment to initiatives promoting education, culture, and inclusion, congratulating all participating students and highlighting the reading corners as hubs of knowledge and inspiration within their communities.
