Larnaca police were placed on high alert on Friday afternoon following reports of two masked individuals behaving suspiciously outside a bank in Kiti. The individuals were seen exiting a saloon car carrying sports-type bags and approaching the bank entrance, which remained closed due to its controlled access system. After a brief attempt, the suspects returned to their vehicle and left the scene.

Police from Kiti station, CID Larnaca, and patrol units quickly responded, securing the area and launching an investigation to identify and locate the suspects. Authorities have not yet determined whether the individuals intended to enter the bank. Efforts are ongoing to clarify their motives and ensure public safety in the area.
