🧒 Cyprus Football Association Hosts Football Event for Refugee Children Ahead of World Refugee Day

The Cyprus Football Association (CFA), together with the International Organisation for Migration (IOM) and the UN Refugee Agency (UNHCR), organized a special football event for refugee children and unaccompanied minors to mark World Refugee Day. The event featured training sessions, team games, and recreational activities for children from the Kofinou reception centre.

This occasion also celebrated the end of a year-long programme that used football to promote social inclusion and integration. The training sessions were led by CFA coaches, emphasizing the sport's role in building friendships and providing participation opportunities.
