Spanish artist Alejandra Atarés is showcasing her second solo exhibition, 'Unfolding Landscapes', at The Edit Gallery in Limassol, running until July 18. The exhibition features a new series of paintings that explore landscapes not as physical places but as emotional and psychological spaces.

Atarés draws on memory, imagination, and personal experience to create immersive environments such as lush gardens and reflective waters that blur the line between reality and recollection. Her use of saturated color and layered compositions invites viewers to engage with the work on an introspective level, encouraging a reflective experience amid an increasingly fast-paced world.

The exhibition includes recurring back-facing figures, adding a contemplative dimension that fosters intimacy and distance simultaneously. Combining oil paint and aerosol, Atarés crafts a refuge through her art—a space where emotions surface and landscapes mirror the inner self. The exhibition is open Tuesdays through Saturdays at The Edit Gallery in Limassol.
