Frederick University is set to launch a joint undergraduate programme in Computer Science and Technology with Hangzhou Dianzi University, Information Engineering College (HZIEE) in China. The programme received official approval from China's Ministry of Education in May 2026 and aims to enroll its first students in the upcoming academic year, pending Cyprus accreditation. Focused on Artificial Intelligence, the programme addresses the rising demand for skilled professionals in this transformative tech field.

HZIEE, located in the Hangzhou Chengxi Sci-tech Innovation Corridor, is a leading institution renowned for its innovation and industry ties, located in a major Chinese technology hub featuring companies such as Alibaba and Baidu. Frederick University brings over 40 years of expertise in Computer Science education and aims to provide students with international exposure and cross-cultural skills through this partnership.
