🎉 Alternative Brains Rule Hosts Second Trapezoma Gathering Focused on Decentralisation in Lympia
Alternative Brains Rule (ABR) is organising the second edition of Trapezoma, a communal event centred on food, wine, music, and conversation, at Kaskanter wine bar in Lympia on Sunday, June 21, starting at 18:30. This edition focuses on decentralisation, exploring the shift in perspective from urban centres to village life and the different voices and knowledge that emerge.
Trapezoma aims to foster informal discussions without panels or microphones, beginning with shared food and music. The first event took place in a traditional coffee shop in the heart of the city, a historic meeting place for social and cultural exchange. This time, ABR moves the gathering to Lympia, prompting reflection on whether rural areas have been left behind or hold valuable heritage and wisdom lost to urban life.
The event features food by To Patrikon and vinyl music by Cotsios o Pikatillis and Charalambos. Participation is by reservation only, and the initiative is part of the EU-funded EUnity20 programme. ABR is a Cyprus-based non-profit known for creating socially engaged cultural experiences that promote joyful, just, and sustainable futures.
