A fire broke out in an abandoned house near the Larnaca port in the early hours of Thursday, prompting a swift response from the fire service. Authorities were alerted to the blaze at around 4:40 a.m. and dispatched three fire engines to the scene. No casualties were reported as the building was unoccupied at the time.
