An elderly man's body was discovered in the sea near the Softades area, close to Aetosanida beach in Kiti on Thursday morning. Police responded promptly and cordoned off the area for investigation. Officers from the Kiti police station are currently examining the circumstances surrounding the man's death and working to confirm his identity. The exact cause of death remains unknown and will be determined following a mandatory post-mortem examination scheduled to take place.
