👮 Four injured in Ayia Napa nightclub stabbing, suspect arrested for attempted murder

Police are investigating an attempted murder after a violent altercation outside a nightclub in Ayia Napa left four men injured early Wednesday morning. The incident occurred around 4:30 am, with three men sustaining knife wounds and one suffering head injuries. The most seriously injured is a 22-year-old, whose condition remains critical.

Authorities have identified a 21-year-old suspect believed to have inflicted the knife wounds, and he was arrested at the scene after insulting officers. Another 22-year-old is also hospitalized with head and facial injuries and is believed to have been accompanying the suspect at the time. The other injured men, aged 25 and 41, received less severe injuries.

Police seized a knife during their investigation and continue to examine the circumstances surrounding the fight. The four injured men were transported to Famagusta General Hospital for treatment, and the investigation remains ongoing.
