🏗️ Variable-Message Signs Installation to Cause Lane Closures on Limassol-Nicosia Highway This Week
The Department of Public Works announced that variable-message signs will be installed along three sections of the Limassol-Nicosia highway in the Limassol district this week. The roadworks will necessitate a left lane closure for about 600 meters in each area during the installation.
Excavation work will start on Tuesday night near the GSP Stadium in Strovolos, with work continuing through Wednesday. Additional installation work will take place on Thursday and Friday between the Ayios Athanasios and Germasogeia interchanges, affecting both directions of travel.
Motorists are advised to expect delays and are urged to follow temporary traffic signs and police instructions. The Department of Public Works apologized for any inconvenience caused and requested public understanding during the works.
