📰 Small-party leaders urge turnout as Cyprus parliamentary voting continues

Leaders of smaller parties joined a nationwide appeal for voters to turn out on Sunday as parliamentary voting continued across Cyprus. Hunters' Movement leader Nikolas Prodromou, who voted at Frenaros Primary School, said the people truly hold their fate in their hands and urged citizens to go to the polls to send a message that it is time to turn the page, warning that abstention would benefit entrenched political interests.

In Limassol, Agricultural Workers Party president Andreas Christofi voted at the Trimiklini regional primary school at 2.15pm, praised working and rural communities and, according to electoral observers, completed the sequence of party leaders casting ballots in the district. Green Party leader Kyriakos Andreou voted in Xyliatos and said participation is essential for democratic legitimacy, urging a calm and responsible conclusion to the electoral process.
