Eurobank participated in the King’s Baton Relay on May 22, 2026, when the baton passed through the bank’s Nicosia headquarters as part of the Cyprus stage of the relay held May 20–25. Georgios A. Chrysostomou, President of the Cyprus Olympic Committee and the Cyprus Commonwealth Games Committee, accompanied by athletes and officials, handed the baton to Dimitris Iliadis, General Manager of Wealth Management & International Business Banking at Eurobank, who then carried it briefly before passing it on to the next relay participant. The relay forms part of the lead-up to the 23rd Commonwealth Games, Glasgow 2026, and crossed free Cyprus visiting cities, historical sites and partner premises to promote unity and cooperation.
