The Cyprus Chamber of Commerce and Industry (Keve) on Monday congratulated the newly elected members of the House of Representatives and said it expects a productive parliamentary term focused on reforms and economic development. The chamber’s president and board extended warm wishes to the new MPs and emphasized the need for responsible decision-making and policies aligned with the needs of the economy and society to support sustainable development and prosperity for Cyprus.

Keve highlighted that amid heightened international challenges and geo-economic developments, close cooperation between the state, parliament and the business community is essential. The chamber reaffirmed its readiness to engage constructively with the new House by contributing evidence-based positions, constructive proposals and recommendations to enhance competitiveness, business growth, social cohesion, entrepreneurship and a more outward-looking, sustainable and resilient economy supported by a modern, efficient state framework.
