🎉 What’s on in Cyprus this week: films, theatre and exhibitions
Cinema headlines in Nicosia include the Cinema Friends Club screening of The President’s Cake (2025, 105 mins) at the Pantheon at 8:30pm; the Arabic‑language film (Greek subtitles) follows a nine‑year‑old chosen to bake a cake for Saddam Hussein. Between Three Lives, directed by Sophie Haid, screens at the Pantheon from May 23 to June 3 at 8:30pm. New releases at RIO cinemas (Nicosia Mall and Limassol) include Star Wars: The Mandalorian and Grogu, Passenger and the animated The Pout‑Pout Fish.
Theatre offerings include Caryl Churchill’s Glass. Kill. Bluebeard. Imp. presented by Open Arts in Old Nicosia with performances May 25, May 30 and May 31 at 8pm, and Ray Cooney’s comedy Out of Order at Limassol’s Pattihio Municipal Theatre.
