The Defence Ministry announced on Monday that applications for recruitment of contract soldiers (Syop) in the National Guard are open and will remain available until July 13, closing at 2pm. The process opened Monday at 8am and applications must be submitted online through the government portal’s “military recruitment” section; only registered and verified users can complete applications.

Verification may be carried out via eBanking, by visiting citizen service centres with an identity card, or through a scheduled video call with citizen service centre staff. Candidates who finish the online process will be invited to physical assessments in July, including an athletic test and a forearm strength/grip test, and will be notified by email and SMS. Those needing assistance or encountering technical difficulties are asked to contact the citizen service centre during working hours.
