A young soldier who had been hospitalised with meningitis in the Intensive Care Unit of Nicosia General Hospital has been successfully disconnected from a ventilator. He was extubated and his condition is described as good and stable, according to attending physicians, the State Health Services Organisation (OKYpY) said.
