Christou said a stronger parliamentary presence would allow Elam to pursue policy changes and promote "more social and national policies," and noted polling projections that place the party third, positioning it as a potential kingmaker.

Later, Democratic National Movement leader Andreas Themistocleous voted at Ypsonas First primary school in Limassol, calling the vote a "first battle of many to come" and expressing hopes for a Cyprus with greater determination and justice. Archbishop Georgios voted at the Pancyprian gymnasium in Nicosia, described voting as a "sacred right," and urged electing representatives able to cooperate with the executive and move away from populism amid the ongoing Cyprus issue.
