💊 Pavlos Papadopoulos Completes 164km Charity Run Supporting Cyprus Cancer Patients
Endurance athlete Pavlos Papadopoulos successfully completed a 164-kilometre charity run to support the Cyprus Association of Cancer Patients and Friends (PASYKAF). The run started and ended at Limassol Marina over more than 24 hours, raising funds to aid PASYKAF's free services such as palliative care, psychological support, and patient advocacy.
This athletic feat carries personal significance for Papadopoulos, who lost his mother and stepfather to cancer. His efforts have previously included a 25-kilometer swim raising over €10,000. The main sponsors, Exinity and the Andrey & Julia Dashin Foundation, emphasized the initiative's embodiment of resilience and community solidarity.
The challenge received strong community backing, highlighting a shared commitment to cancer support across Cyprus. PASYKAF, established in 1986, remains a vital non-profit organization assisting thousands of patients and families nationwide.
