🏗️ University of Cyprus opens applications for YUFE Bachelor in Urban Sustainability Studies starting 2026
The University of Cyprus has launched applications for the YUFE Bachelor in Urban Sustainability Studies, an innovative English-taught undergraduate degree beginning in September 2026. The programme is offered through the Young Universities for the Future of Europe (YUFE) alliance, enabling students to study across multiple European universities and select flexible, interdisciplinary learning paths.
Targeted at addressing contemporary urban environmental, social, and economic challenges, the three-year degree equips students with knowledge and practical skills in urban planning, policy, environmental sciences, and economics. A core component is international mobility, where students start at the University of Cyprus and continue their studies at partner institutions such as Maastricht University and Sorbonne Nouvelle University.
Applications are open until July 20, 2026 for European Economic Area students and June 14, 2026 for non-EEA students. An online information session is scheduled for June 29, 2026. Accredited by the NVAO and approved by Cyprus’ Ministry of Education, the degree aims to produce graduates ready for careers in urban development, sustainability consultancy, public administration, and related research fields.
