The Cleanthous Foundation is funding art psychotherapy sessions for adolescents at the inpatient unit of Archbishop Makarios III Hospital to support mental health through creative expression. Delivered by two specialised art therapists, the programme offers hospitalised teenagers a therapeutic outlet to communicate and process their experiences using art, colour, and creativity. The sessions provide a supportive environment for self-expression and connection during challenging treatment periods. The initiative also aims to benefit the families of participating adolescents, emphasizing a holistic approach to mental healthcare. Supporting youth health and wellbeing remains a key priority for the Cleanthous Foundation, which hopes projects like this will strengthen mental health services for young people across Cyprus.
