The documentary Echoes Of Beneath will be screened in Cyprus with two special showings in Nicosia on June 10 and Paphos on June 11, 2026. Presented by the Enavsma Foundation in partnership with local institutions including the Municipality of Paphos and the Cyprus Olympic Committee, the film offers an intimate look at Paralympian Antonis Tsapatakis’s life and philosophy.

Directed by Vasilis Barachanos, the documentary combines rare archival footage and striking underwater cinematography to explore the challenges and triumphs beneath the surface of competitive swimming. It addresses themes of identity, strength, dignity, and the fight for equality. The film has won prestigious awards at the Thessaloniki International Documentary Festival, including the Fischer Audience Award and the Alpha Bank Accessibility Award.

Screenings are free but require seat reservations. Following each viewing, an open discussion with the director and Tsapatakis will provide an opportunity for audiences to engage with the film's message. Venues are K-Cineplex in Nicosia and Attikon Multiplex in Paphos, both starting at 8pm.
