The Cyprus Cricket Federation successfully hosted the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup Sub-Regional Qualifier A in Limassol from May 16 to 23, positioning Cyprus as an emerging cricket destination. The tournament, held at Happy Valley in Episkopi, featured ten nations and concluded with Jersey defeating Guernsey by four wickets in a thrilling final, keeping their World Cup qualification hopes alive.

The event went beyond competitive play, with community engagement initiatives including school visits and criiio festivals aimed at introducing cricket to young people and promoting the sport across Cyprus. These efforts underscore the Federation’s commitment to developing cricket at the grassroots level on the island.
