A court has prohibited the "Globe of Death" acrobatic show from operating on the Limassol seafront after the municipality found it failed to meet safety and licensing requirements. The Cyprus Fire Service also deemed the show's structure unsuitable during an inspection.

Originally, the Municipal Council had agreed to provide space at Molos for the show, contingent upon meeting all legal terms, including obtaining an operating license. However, a same-day inspection revealed that these conditions were not fulfilled, and the license was consequently not issued.

To ensure public safety, the municipality obtained a court order banning the show's staging and operation in the area. Police have been notified and will enforce the prohibition. Authorities have urged the public to remain cautious during the upcoming three-day Kataklysmos period, emphasizing that no valid license was granted for this event.
