Four individuals were arrested overnight during nationwide preventative policing operations aimed at preventing serious crimes and maintaining public order. The arrests were linked to building burglaries, theft, illegal stay on the island, and fines.

Authorities conducted extensive checks, stopping 662 drivers and 208 passengers, alongside 64 inspections of various premises resulting in 11 complaints. Traffic enforcement was also a priority, with 212 complaints issued for violations, including 92 speeding stops and 7 vehicles detained. Additionally, 353 alcohol tests were performed, leading to 22 complaints and one positive preliminary drug test.

The police emphasized that these crime prevention and suppression operations will continue daily, featuring an enhanced presence, targeted controls, and swift operational responses to safeguard residents and uphold public order.
