🌦️ Clouds and isolated showers expected Monday with high fire danger across Cyprus forests
On Monday, Cyprus will experience increased cloud cover with isolated showers and a few thunderstorms likely over the mountains and interior areas around midday and early afternoon. Winds will be light and variable initially, shifting to southwesterly to northwesterly at 3–4 Beaufort later in the day. Seas will remain calm to slight. Temperatures are forecast to reach highs of 32°C inland, with coastal areas ranging from 22°C in the mountains to 28°C along the south and east coasts.
Authorities have issued a high fire danger warning for all forested regions due to dry conditions. Major cities will see temperatures such as Nicosia at 30°C, Limassol 26°C, and Paphos 25°C. On Tuesday, mostly clear skies with some increased cloud periods are expected, with no significant temperature changes anticipated.
