A coalition of Cypriot agricultural organizations has urgently requested a meeting with President Nikos Christodoulides to address the spreading livestock disease affecting Cyprus. The groups, including PEK, EKA, Panagrotikos, Nea Agrotiki Kinisi, and Euroagrotikos, expressed grave concerns over the ongoing spread of foot and mouth disease across new regions, which current measures have failed to control. They emphasized the crises faced by livestock farmers and the overall impact on the island's economy and agriculture sector.
