The European Union has endorsed a pivotal new policy that will enable pregnant Members of the European Parliament (MEPs) to use proxy votes in parliamentary decisions. This change aims to allow pregnant MEPs, up to three months before the expected date of birth and six months postpartum, to delegate their voting responsibilities.
