President Nikos Christodoulides confirmed on Tuesday that there is no discord between the police chief and the justice minister and dismissed any speculations regarding changes in their positions. The president made these remarks while attending the Cyprus Theatre Organisation (Thoc) Awards ceremony, in response to media queries about rumored tensions and possible reshuffling in the police department. He emphasized that there was absolutely no rift and no meetings were held on this issue, reaffirming the stability within the police leadership and the justice ministry.
