In a series of targeted nighttime operations aimed at preventing serious crime and maintaining public order, Cyprus police arrested ten individuals for various offences including drug possession, burglary, and assault on a police officer. The operations included increased police patrols in major urban areas and resulted in 510 vehicle stops and the inspection of 639 individuals. Additionally, 39 premises were checked, and numerous traffic violations were addressed, with 375 reports issued for road offences and eight vehicles impounded.

Traffic enforcement was a significant focus, with 117 drivers cited for speeding and five for drink-driving. Police also conducted 70 alcohol tests and four drug-driving checks, with two drivers testing positive for drugs. These ongoing efforts are part of a broader strategy to boost public safety through enhanced patrols, focused inspections, and rapid response measures across Cyprus.
