A woman was rescued by firefighters after her car collided with a wall in Avdimou, Limassol, on Monday morning. The incident, reported at 07:29, necessitated the efforts of a rescue team from Monovolikos Fire Station. The driver, trapped inside the vehicle following the off-road accident, was extricated using specialized equipment. After the rescue, she was transported by ambulance to the A&E department of Limassol General Hospital. Additionally, a minor present in the car at the time of the accident was also taken to the hospital, although not trapped. Fire Service personnel ensured safety at the scene by disconnecting the car's battery terminals.
