🎉 Cyprus Kicks Off Summer with Music, Food, and Cultural Festivals This Weekend

This weekend, Cyprus bursts into celebration with numerous music, food, and cultural festivals across the island. On Friday, Oroklini hosts the traditional Thalassa ki Almyro Nero festival with live folklore performances in the church courtyard of Archangel Michael. Meanwhile, Nicosia's Nihtes Kalokairiou – Summer Nights 2026 begins with musicians performing throughout the old town, and in Dali, the 32nd Pancyprian Milk Festival features live concerts by Greek stars Andromachi and Sakis Rouvas alongside local dairy tastings.

Saturday sees the 6th Wind Orchestra Festival parade through Limassol’s streets with philharmonic bands and Majorettes, and the Pancypriot Carrot Festival in Liopetri highlights local carrot delicacies with a live performance by Giannis Ploutarchos. Other events include a fundraising music event Rocking Autism in Nicosia and acoustic performances in Larnaca and Nicosia.

On Sunday, the Platres Lavender Festival offers a day-long village market and workshops, while the 41st Larnaca Festival opens with a concert honoring Greek composer Stavros Xarhakos. Local singer Chrystalla will also celebrate two years of her Acoustic Wednesdays with a special live show in Lympia. These vibrant festivals underscore Cyprus’s rich summer cultural scene, inviting locals and visitors to celebrate music, food, and tradition.
