The Cyprus Stock Exchange (CSE) recently honoured Stylianos Savva, the top-performing economics student at the University of Cyprus, with its annual academic excellence award. The award, named in memory of former CSE Council chairman Akis Cleanthous, was presented at a ceremony on June 29, 2026, recognising outstanding academic achievement during the 2025-2026 academic year.

As part of its corporate social responsibility efforts, the CSE awarded Savva a €500 cash prize, highlighting its ongoing commitment to promoting educational achievement and personal integrity among students. The award has become a well-established tradition, aiming to motivate students to excel academically while fostering a culture of excellence within the University of Cyprus.
