A 41-year-old man was arrested in Paphos on suspicion of offences related to child sexual abuse material, authorities confirmed on Monday. The investigation started after police received a tip that a user on an online platform was searching for illegal content involving the sexual abuse of minors.

The cybercrime unit identified the suspect and carried out a court-authorised search of his residence. During the search, officers seized a laptop, three mobile phones, and two external hard drives, all of which will undergo forensic examination as part of the ongoing investigation.
