🎉 Nicosia Municipality launches Summer Nights 2026 with free cultural performances across the city
Nicosia Municipality has reinstated its annual Summer Nights event, running from July 3 to September 25, offering free performances across the capital’s neighbourhoods including Aglandjia, Engomi, and Ayios Dometios. This cultural initiative transforms the city into an open-air stage with a diverse lineup of musicians, theatre groups, dancers, and visual artists.
The programme features a variety of events such as concerts, theatre plays, dance evenings, and photography exhibitions aimed at enriching the city’s cultural life during the summer months. Highlights include a music trail on Ledra and Onasagorou streets, folklore performances at Eleftheria Square, and exhibitions at the Solomou Square bridge.
By bringing art and entertainment to public spaces, Summer Nights 2026 encourages residents and visitors to engage with local culture, fostering community participation and creative expression. Full event details and schedule are available on the Nicosia Municipality’s official website.
