Nicosia Municipality has reinstated its annual Summer Nights event, running from July 3 to September 25, offering free performances across the capital’s neighbourhoods including Aglandjia, Engomi, and Ayios Dometios. This cultural initiative transforms the city into an open-air stage with a diverse lineup of musicians, theatre groups, dancers, and visual artists.

The programme features a variety of events such as concerts, theatre plays, dance evenings, and photography exhibitions aimed at enriching the city’s cultural life during the summer months. Highlights include a music trail on Ledra and Onasagorou streets, folklore performances at Eleftheria Square, and exhibitions at the Solomou Square bridge.
