The 41st Larnaca Festival is set to take place throughout July 2026, bringing seven diverse events to the city’s notable venues. The festival will be hosted at the Pattihio Municipal Amphitheatre and the Archaeological Site of Ancient Kition, offering audiences a cultural experience filled with music, dance, and theatre under the theme Rhythm of Skala.
The programme begins on July 5 with a tribute concert to Stavros Xarhakos, performed by the Larnaca Music School Mikis Theodorakis alongside Kostas Makedonas. Highlights include an acrobatic show by Denmark's Flying Superkids on July 9, a performance by renowned Greek singer Yiannis Kotsiras on July 16 celebrating his 30-year music career, and a theatrical production of Euripides' Ion on July 22.
The festival continues with a concert tribute to Mikis Theodorakis by the Mikis Theodorakis Popular Orchestra at the Ancient Kition site on July 24. It will conclude with two performances of the ballet Zorba the Greek by the Sofia National Opera Ballet on July 29 and 30, blending ballet elegance and Greek musical heritage to close the month-long event.
