🎉 CARE Festival in Larnaka fosters community change through arts, education, and participation

The CARE Festival, an initiative of Larnaka 2030, is transforming care into a cultural, social, and educational driving force for community change. By intersecting arts, education, and active participation, the festival creates inclusive spaces for dialogue and collaboration among diverse groups, emphasizing care as a foundation for more supportive and sustainable societies.

Since its inception in October 2023, CARE has engaged thousands of children, educators, and artists, expanding conversations on critical social issues such as migration, displacement, and marginalization. Its ongoing platform includes artistic residencies, school programs, and international collaborations, aiming for a long-term impact through tools like the CARE Book and Digital Community Archive.

Salomi Paraskeva of the Cultural Foundation for Children and Youth highlighted CARE's role in celebrating Larnaka’s culture of care and empowering youth. The festival continues to promote trust, belonging, and active participation, inviting communities to collectively shape their present and future.
