Residents of Aglandjia will vote on Sunday to elect a new deputy mayor following the resignation of Andreas Constantinou, who secured a parliamentary seat in May's elections. Two independent candidates, Prokopis Prokopiou and Andri Hadjiandreou, are contesting the position.
Polling stations will operate from 7am to noon, then from 1pm to 6pm, across 26 locations in six local schools. A total of 15,182 voters, including EU citizens and displaced voters, are registered to participate. The largest polling station is at the First Primary School with 651 voters, while the smallest is at the Fifth Primary School with 517.
Voters can verify their polling stations via the elections website or by phone. Results are expected to be announced around 8:30pm on Sunday.
