The Nicosia Municipal Theatre is introducing a new series of free cultural events held on the last Sunday of every month from June 28 to the end of August. These open-air gatherings will take place in the theatre's outdoor spaces and gardens, providing a vibrant summer experience in the heart of Nicosia.

The series kicks off on June 28 with 'Jazz on the Side,' featuring live performances from three prominent Cypriot jazz bands: Trio in Cahoots, Charis Ioannou Quartet, and Chunky Funky. The event runs from 5pm to 11pm, offering a musical journey from jazz standards to contemporary and funky rhythms. An outdoor bar will also be available, serving drinks and cocktails throughout the evening.

Curated by Christos Yerolatsitis, these events aim to enrich Nicosia’s cultural summer calendar with music, comedy, screenings, and relaxed Sunday vibes, all accessible free of charge to the public.
