A 36-year-old man was arrested after firing shots at a house in the Paphos district early Wednesday morning, police reported on Friday. The incident occurred around 3:50 am when bullets struck the wooden front door of a residence occupied by a couple aged 41 and 37. Fortunately, neither occupant was injured in the shooting.

Following an investigation, authorities identified and apprehended the suspect on Thursday evening. He is currently in custody as the police continue to probe the circumstances surrounding the incident. No further details have been released at this time.
