The Meteorological Service of Cyprus reports that temperatures will rise to around 37 degrees Celsius inland, with milder conditions along the coasts and mountainous areas experiencing highs near 30 degrees. Weather will be mainly clear today, though isolated showers are expected in the mountainous regions during the afternoon and evening. Winds will shift from variable to mainly southwest to northwest, blowing moderately strong along the coastal areas.
Tonight, skies will remain mostly clear but low clouds and some fog may form, particularly in eastern and inland areas. Winds will weaken and become lighter and variable. Sea conditions will gradually calm, becoming mostly smooth with some slight turbulence.
From Saturday through Monday, weather conditions are expected to remain generally clear with occasional clouds and isolated showers in the mountains during midday and thereafter. Temperatures will remain slightly above the seasonal average without significant changes throughout the period.
