🧒 Cyprus Boosts Postgraduate Scholarships to 110 Amid EU Council Presidency
Cyprus has increased the number of scholarships for postgraduate studies to 110 as part of its six-month EU Council Presidency. This expansion includes 17 new scholarships from European University Cyprus and CIM Cyprus Business School, adding to the initial 93 scholarships announced in May. The scholarships support Cypriot and European students pursuing postgraduate education, with offerings including full and partial funding.
European University Cyprus is providing 10 scholarships for autumn 2026 English-language postgraduate programmes, while CIM offers seven scholarships, including one fully funded master’s place. Other institutions contributing include Neapolis University Pafos with 40 partial scholarships, Frederick University with 20, and the University of Limassol with 12, which includes two fully funded spots.
This initiative aligns with Cyprus’ EU presidency focus on youth empowerment and educational access. By easing financial burdens, the programme seeks to promote higher education participation and strengthen Cyprus' role as a regional hub for advanced studies.
