A 39-year-old woman is currently intubated and sedated in the intensive care unit of Limassol General Hospital after being found running naked and in panic on a city street. Police responded to calls at around 4pm on General Timaya Street, where officers had to physically restrain her. During the restraint, she fell, began convulsing, and showed signs of alcohol intoxication.

Toxicology tests revealed the presence of fentanyl and other opioids in her system. Authorities noted that she likely consumed alcohol alongside fentanyl-opioid substances. The woman also sustained fractures to her right ribs. She was transported by ambulance to the hospital and remains in stable condition.

Police confirmed the woman had arrived in Cyprus from Russia on June 2 and was scheduled to leave in early July. The incident is under investigation by the Limassol CID.
